MmITS AGM and talk on Glasgow library tweet-ups

AnabelWe are delighted to announce that Anabel Marsh (founder of the Glasgow library tweet-ups) will be speaking at the MmITS AGM on Thursday 9th May in the Royal Faculty of Procurators, Glasgow.

Members and non-members are all welcome to attend the AGM and to hear Anabel’s presentation. This is a free event but places are limited so sign up now!

Anabel’s presentation

The AGM (20 – 30 minutes max.) will be immediately followed by a presentation by Anabel Marsh (1 hour, including Q & A session) on some background on the Glasgow Library Tweetup scene. What made her start it? What role has technology played in getting it started and continuing it? How does she see using technology in the future for the tweetups?

Venue:  Royal Faculty of Procurators, 12 Nelson Mandela Place, Glasgow
Date / time: Thursday 9th May 2013, 2pm – 4pm

Refreshments (tea / coffee / biscuits) will be served. The event will be followed by an optional, short tour round the Royal Faculty of Procurators Library. If you’d like to go on this tour please let Paulette know when booking.

At the AGM the Chairperson will be seeking nominations from those members interested in becoming involved in the work of the Committee.  Also, there is a currently a vacancy for MmITS Secretary.  Please contact Paulette Hill, MmITS Treasurer ( or on 0131 668 8642) and a nomination form will be sent to you.

(Note:  Non-members are welcome to attend the AGM but are not eligible to vote).
